Jersey Shore
I was born and raised in New Jersey. I have been vacationing at the Jersey Shore since I was about 5 years old, so 'The Shore' has a very special place in my heart. My parents would rent a house at Ortley Beach, and my siblings and I would spend a week there each summer with our Aunts, Uncles and cousins from both sides of the family. It is a tradition that has continued for over 45 years. I still look forward to it every year. As soon as the holidays end, we start looking for available rentals in July. It helps dispel the winter doldrums that inevitably set in come January. Something my family can anticipate with excitement.
